Zambia’s shortest border is the 150-metre strip of land that touches Botswana near Kazungula. Only one border on Earth is less significant, the 85 metres that divides Morocco from the Spanish exclave of Peñón de Vélez de la Gomera.
Land border: Canada’s border with the United States is the world’s longest international border, at 8,890 km. This compares with the 6,846-km boundary between Russia and Kazakhstan and the 5,308-km frontier between Chile and Argentina.
The 4.4 km border between France and Monaco followed. I focused on Monaco in Almost Landlocked and I don’t really have any more to add. Monaco is another one of those places that comes-up frequently in geo-oddity trivia.
Afghanistan have the shortest boundary with India.
